"Second Step: A Violence Prevention Curriculum"

This one-day training focuses on ensuring a quality implementation fo the Second Step program. Staff training will enable participants to teach the
Second Step program effectively, strengthen social-skills teaching strategies, and inentify opportunities to model and reinforce skills.

With Committee for Children's Second Step Preschool-Grade 9 curricula, children learn to change attitudes and behaviors that contribute to
violence. This program is designed to reduce impulsive and aggressive behavior by teaching prosocial skills, including empathy, impulse
control and problem solving, and anger management.

3. If you already have a copy, please bring your copy to the training.

Coordinated Training Services (CTS) reserves the right to cancel any training for which a minimum of five (5) participants have not pre-registered within 10 days prior to the training.
