Mary Hill has been involved in all areas of higher education and
community prevention for over thirty years. She is committed to
bringing the latest trends in the area of proactive prevention from
planning to implementing programs and initiatives. She has worked
closely with a majority of college and universities in Texas in
developing their prevention programs. Mary will design and implement
each training session around the specific needs of the university or
community coalition. She works in advance of the training with the
agency, campus or coalition to make sure the attendees understand the
problem and have opportunity to develop the solutions. Mary has been a
site visitor for the USDE for a majority of the cited model programs.
(Experiences in Effective Prevention – August, 2007). Her training
will allow you to replicate the model program after adjusting to meet
your individual coalition needs. Mary’s “Train the Trainer” sessions
are creative and interactive and have been used throughout the United
States.
Training programs Mary Hill has developed and used nationally are:
coalition building, policy development, social norming, RA enforcement,
developing peer education, leadership and team development, grant
writing and fundraising, working with athletes, empowering millennials,
and working with administration.
